just another day in the woods

Today we were graced by two park employees who introduced us to our surroundings. We learned the latin names of the various plant species on the institutes property and learned about revegetation and various park management strategies for plants and etc. Here's just a basic list of all of the plants i need to memorize by the time we start teaching in two weeks:
